  Are you looking to sell your house and don't have a Realtor? If you are looking for a recommendation you might start from here.
The Greater Houston Realtors recommended on this site are trustworthy, knowledgeable, aggressive and time tested professionals, however, it is important that you pick one that you can build rapport in the long run.

- These Realtors are associated with a franchise such as Prudential Gary Greene, REMAX or have their own office full time.
- Have access to Multiple Listing Services (MLS).
- Work on your time schedule.
- May recommend improvements that will reduce the time the house is in the market, such as granite countertops, wall painting, or any other remodeling if necessary.
- Refer you to qualified lending professionals.
- Conduct a study of the property's value.

  
Interviewing prospects

Here are a few questions you might want to ask your prospective Realtor:

• How long have you been in the real estate business?
• How many homes have you listed during the past year?
• Have you ever had any complaints from your clients?
• Can you give me the names and phone numbers of past clients for references?
• What is the length of the listing agreement?
• How many listings do you currently have?
• How often will I hear from you after my home is listed?

   During the interview process the agents you talk to should provide you with a marketing proposal and a comparative market analysis that will indicate an approximate selling price for your home given the current real estate market conditions. Ask for an estimate of your closing costs so that you can approximate the amount of cash you will net from the sale of your home.

Some points to keep in mind

It is ok to visit 10, 15 houses before you make a decision
Ask the agent if he or she will accept a contract for 90 days or less.
